Make sure to only use VR2 firmware on VR2 units or the device will not function.
+ 2 - Download the VAS software from the website and install it on your PC.
+ 3 - Connect your serial cable (and USB Adapter if you have one) to the PC and Veypor unit, but DO NOT power on the Veypor yet.
+ 4 - Launch the Firmware Programmer application from the start menu (do not launch it from the VAS software)
+ 5 - Select the correct COM port and click the "Connect to serial port" button
+ 6 - Hold down both buttons on the Veypor unit and power it up. The shift light should start flashing and the firmware programmer application should have both "lights" now green.
+ 7 - Select the firmware to update and click the "Program Firmware" button
+ 8 - The firmware takes from 2-5 minutes to update
