|
|
I just used the Course timer today (used as a trip timer)..........
http://www.veypor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=972&highlight=#972
and discovered a problem after 3 hours of use............the average MPH display is incorrect after 3 hours (looks like the average MPH calculation continues to use 3:00:00 anytime after the three hour time has passed).
See the pictures below that show the wrong average MPH calculation based on time and accumulated miles..............
(Pretty tough having an average velocity higher than the MAX velocity)
BTW - This setup (allowing Veypor powered on all the time while using the course timer) works great as a day-long trip timer.........this is exactly the setup I was looking for!
Once you guys get the calculation problem corrected this will be awesome for us touring riders!
Thanks......

You are right. We were maxing out at 3 hours. This limit is now removed and an improved firmware (with some other fixes) is on the site.

- Removed leading 0's from driving mode displays. (Shows 0.0kph not 000.0kph)
- Fixed problem with auto starting of 1/4 Mile Runs.
- Fixed accuracy of course timer average velocity for trips of over 3 hours. |
Dang.........you guys are absolutely awesome!
It sure is nice to buy a product and get great support for it............although I didn't expect a fix in just a few hours!
Thank You very much! _________________ Brian Fenner

FYI..........
Just got in a long ride today and the course timer now works great. Also, the leading zero removal is a great improvement as it clears up the display and is alot easier to read IMHO.
Thanks guys.......... _________________ Brian Fenner
